Curzon & Fawood Nursery Schools & Family Wellbeing Centre

Admissions

We offer 15-hour and 30-hour Government-Funded,  as well as  full fee-paying childcare places Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm.

Curzon and Fawood Nursery School welcomes children aged 2 to 4 years. We are currently awaiting registration approval for children under 2 years old. To stay informed, please register your interest with our office, and we will notify you as soon as places become available. We also offer Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) funded by Brent for nursery-aged children with Autism. To be eligible for a place, children must have a confirmed Autism diagnosis. For more information on the diagnosis process, please contact our Family Wellbeing Centre.

The Admissions Process

We have admissions to the nursery school each term and a rolling admission process for the 2 year old provision. Our term-time admissions take place in September, January, and April. Once we received your completed application form and the necessary documents, an offer letter will be sent to confirm your child's place: in July for September, December for January, and March for April.

Application forms are available from the office or download an electronic version here. Please complete the application form and submit it at the reception desk along with your child's original birth certificate and proof of address for the parents (e.g., a bank statement or utility bill). For government-funded places, the office will require your HMRC code. We are happy to provide guidance or assistance with the application process.

We offer 15-hour government-funded places with morning classes from 8:30am to 11:30am or afternoon classes from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time. For working families, we provide a full-time option from 8:30am to 3:30pm, two days a week, with the option to pay for additional days or extended hours through our Breakfast Club from 8am or After School Club till 6pm. Please click here to view our fees structure.

We encourage families that are considering a place at Curzon and Fawood nursery School to come and look around! This is a chance to view our exciting and dynamic learning environment both inside and outside, meet a senior member of staff and ask any questions. Please click here for upcoming tour dates and times.

If we receive more applications than spaces available for the Nursery School Provision, then we apply the following admission criteria:

1. Children with Special Educations Needs identified through an EHCP.

2. Children who are Looked After by a Local Authority

3. Children who the Local Authority accepts have an exceptional medical or social need for a place at one specific school.

4. Siblings

5. Children living closest to the school

6. Children wishing to transfer from the NEG2 provision.

Every Autumn the Governing Body review the Admissions Policy. The policy sets out all the considerations, selection and oversubscription criteria, types of places and fees.
