If we receive more applications than spaces available for the Nursery School Provision, then we apply the following admission criteria:

1. Children with Special Educations Needs identified through an EHCP.

2. Children who are Looked After by a Local Authority

3. Children who the Local Authority accepts have an exceptional medical or social need for a place at one specific school.

4. Siblings

5. Children living closest to the school

6. Children wishing to transfer from the NEG2 provision.

We have 16 places in Rainbows which is an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) funded by Brent for nursery aged children with Autism. To be eligible for a place in Rainbows, children must have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism. Rainbows does not accept children directly through applying to the nursery school.

Every Autumn the Governing Body review the Admissions Policy. The policy sets out all the considerations, selection and oversubscription criteria, types of places and fees.

The Admissions Process

We have admissions to the nursery school each term and a rolling admission process for the 2 year old provision. Application forms are available from the office or download an electronic version here.

Application forms must be submitted to the Office and we are required to check your child's birth certificate and your proof of address (bank statement or utility bill). You will be contacted to confirm the availability of the place requested and a start date.

For 3 and 4 year old children eligible for 30 hours free early education the office will need the HMRC code and are happy to give you advice or help in applying.

We encourage families that are considering a place at Curzon and Fawood nursery School to come and look around! This is a chance to view our exciting and dynamic learning environment both inside and outside, meet a senior member of staff and ask any questions.
