Curzon & Fawood Nursery Schools & Family Wellbeing Centre

Early Years Pupil Premium

What is the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
From 2015 all early years settings and child-minders are able to claim extra funding through the EYPP to support children’s development, learning and care.

We use the extra funding to enhance the quality of early year’s education that we provide for your child and the learning opportunities on offer during the school year. This could include special resources, visits, interventions or additional specialist help.

It is recognised that high quality early education influences how well a child goes on to achieve in primary and secondary school.

All families will be asked to fill in an eligibility form when their child joins the nursery; this enables us to claim the funding. Eligibility is checked simply using a parent/carers National Insurance number.
