Timetable of the Day

Morning

8.00 – 8.30am: Breakfast Club for children booked in for these additional hours

8.30am: Arrival and self-registration for full time and morning children

8.35 – 8.45am:  2-3yr olds – Free Flow learning session*

                          3-4yr olds –Phonics groups

8.45 – 11am:  Free flow learning session for all age groups, including self-serve snack time

*Free Flow is when the curriculum is taught across the indoor and outdoor learning environments both child led and adult led. Provocations is what we call the adult led intended learning and these are planned for both 2-3yr olds and 3-4yr olds

11am: Group times:

2-3yr olds – Songs and Core Rhymes

3-4yr olds – Core Book, Helicopter Stories, Maths, Enquiry based learning and Music

11.25 – 11.30am: Families collect children attending morning session only

11.30 – 12.30pm: Full time children eat their lunch, sitting together in a family group. Eating Pathway work structures lunchtimes so children can learn about nutrition, good eating habits and the enjoyable socialisation of mealtimes

Afternoon

12.30pm: Arrival and self-registration for afternoon children (full time children register again)

12.35 – 12.45pm:  2-3yr olds – Free Flow learning session*

              3-4yr olds –Phonics groups

12.45 – 3pm:  Free flow learning session for all age groups, including self-serve snack time

(based at Curzon, children attending Fawood will enjoy a short walk over to our Curzon Nursery School site and benefit from access to the large garden for this period of the day)
