Volunteering
Would you like to become a volunteer in the Children’s Centre?
If you would you like the chance to learn new skills, gain training, help others and your local community you can become a Children’s Centre Volunteer.
You will be supporting staff in a range of groups and activities whilst having an active role to play in your local community. It does not matter how much or how little time you are able to give.
You are able to gain the following benefits:
- improve your self-confidence and develop new skills
- improve your CV and gain references
- prove to an employer you have evidence of working in a professional environment
You can volunteer at any of the Children’s Centres in the Curzon Crescent and Fawood Children’s Centres Partnership. You can donate as little as two hours per week. If you would like to volunteer you can ask at the reception for an application form.
There are various roles, including:
- Admin Support Volunteer
- Childcare Volunteer
- Gardener Volunteer
